Bhubaneswar: A day after the hoteliers’ association appealed for reopening of hotels, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday permitted them to give rooms to flight crew members only.
The BMC has allowed hotels to take advance bookings from crew members of all airlines too.
Earlier on Monday, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO)’s chairman JK Mohanty had asked the state to allow the functioning of hotel rooms as airlines had started operating. He had pointed out that people arriving from different places have been calling looking for rooms to stay.
