House Set On Fire Over Personal Enmity In Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A miscreant allegedly set afire a house located at Dhenkanal College bypass  late on Friday, over past enmity. The house is belonged to one Prashant Parida.

The incident took place when Prashant had gone out. His mother, wife, grandson and granddaughter, who were sleeping in the house, escaped unhurt as some neighbours saw smoke billowing from the roof and doused the fire immediately.

The fire partially damaged the building and a few pieces of furniture. Police have began investigation into the incident, after a complaint in this regard was lodged at town police station by Prashant’s mother.
