Mumbai: Amazon Alexa users can now hear Amitabh Bachchan’s voice instead of the regular voice. It’s the first celebrity voice to feature on Alexa in India.

The service costs Rs 149 a year and is available on Amazon Echo devices.

To turn it on, users need to say, “Alexa, introduce me to Amitabh Bachchan” to purchase the service. To use the service, users have to say, ‘Amit ji.’

There are stories from the superstar’s life that users can hear along with poems by his father, tongue twisters, motivational quotes, and more in his voice. Apart from that, music, setting alarms and getting weather updates can be done in his signature style. For things like shopping, smart controls, general information, users have to ask Alexa.

Users can interact in both Hindi and English.

Users can get birthday greetings in Amitabh Bachchan’s voice for which they have to say “Amit ji, it’s my birthday.”
