Cuttack: All arrangements are in place for evaluation of answer sheets of annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations in Odisha from tomorrow.
Nihar Ranjan Mohanty, vice-president, Board of Secondary Education (BSE), which conducts the examination, on Sunday told the media persons that the examiners have been asked to report at their respective evaluation centres on Monday morning.
He said the District Education Officers (DEOs) have been told to take necessary steps to ensure that the evaluators perform their task in peaceful and smooth manner.
Stating that total 55 evaluation centres have been set up across the state, Mohanty said as many as 13,000 examiners will evaluate the answer sheets. The evaluation process will be completed in 10-12 days, he added.
It may be noted that more than 5 lakh students had appeared at the HSC examinations conducted at 3,218 centres across the state. The examinations began on March 10 and concluded on March 20.
