Koraput: Three persons were arrested and a huge consignment of ganja worth over Rs 50 lakh was seized from a truck at Batriput Chhak in Koraput district late on Tuesday.
Police sources said a patrolling team intercepted a husk-laden truck at Batriput Chhak. During search, 4.42 quintals of ganja was found stashed in sacks. The huge consignment was being transported to Uttar Pradesh from Malkangiri, the sources said.
The arrested persons were identified as Sachin Kumar (25), Tinku Kumar (20) and Murati Hraj Sukla (19).
