Jeypore: Police are on lookout for the teacher of a coaching centre in Koraput district who has been accused of severely beating his students.
The incident came to light after some students of Fusion Classes, a coaching centre at Chhapara, lodged a complaint in the Sadar Police Station on Wednesday.
The students alleged that the concerned teacher of the coaching centre was teaching them on YouTube. When the students told him that they could not understand his teaching, the teacher took five of them in his vehicle to a secluded place and thrashed them with an iron rod.
Koraput SDPO Gunanidhi Mallick told the media that the injured students are undergoing treatment in a government hospital while efforts are on to arrest the teacher who is absconding.
