Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has approved Rs 120 per adult/day and Rs 100 per child/day at the temporary medical camps set up for quarantining migrants intending to return to Odisha after the lockdown restrictions are lifted on May 3.
Also, Rs 300 has been sanctioned for personal hygiene kit (tooth brush, paste, tongue cleaner, soaps, oil, razor, masks, sanitary pad, mug, bottle, bucket) a person for 14 days.
Besides, two bed sheets and two pillow covers will either be hired or procured for each bed. Rs 2000 a day has been set aside for cleaning, sanitation and security.
The order issued by Relief Commissioner & Additional Chief Secretary further said that cots and mattresses, pillows can be arranged through hiring and charged to SDRF.
Timings of serving of foods:
So far, 7102 camps with 2.27 lakh beds have been made functional. Those intending to return to the state have been asked to register on the government portal www.covid19.odisha.gov.in. Since being launched on April 24, 4.86 lakh migrants have registered themselves on the portal.
