Hyundai on Wednesday unveiled its new-generation i10 and it is named Grand i10 Nios. The car will be launched in India on August 20. Bookings are open and the booking amount is ₹ 11,000.
The new Grand i10 Nios features Hyundai’s cascading grille on the front. The side profile gives it a wider and spacious interior feel. Like other Hyundais, the interiors get dual tone black and beige colours. There is chrome on the steering wheel as well.
The infotainment system is expected to be loaded with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other features such as climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charging (segment first) ABS, dual airbags are expected to be part of the new car.
Hyundai is expected to carry forward the 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines upgraded to BS-VI emission norms. The new Grand i10 Nios diesel will be the first BS-VI compliant diesel car in the country. An AMT gearbox is also expected to be offered as an option.
