Hyundai on Tuesday launched its all-new compact SUV – Venue. The prices range from Rs Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh. The company has stated that the prices are introductory and will be increased in a few months. Here are the variant-wise prices:

As seen above, the Venue is available in two petrol engines and one diesel engine option. The 90hp, 1.4 litre diesel is the same as the one in the Creta. There is the 83hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine, as seen on most Hyundais in the range, and a new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor that produces 120hp.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the diesel engine comes with 6-speed manual. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol is available in manual as well as a 7-speed DCT automatic.
The fuel efficiency numbers are as follows:
1.0 turbo-petrol – 18.15kmpl (automatic) and 18.27kmpl (manual)
1.2 petrol – 17.52kmpl
1.4 diesel – 23.7kmpl
The Venue features auto climate control, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, ABS, ESC, Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity, rear parking sensors, up to six airbags and more.
The Hyundai Venue comes in 10 exterior colours and three interior upholstery options.
The Hyundai Venue will go head-to-head with the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport.
