Mumbai: During the NCB probe in a drug-related case, model turned actor Arjun Rampal told the investigating officials that he has a prescription for the medicine that was found at his residence.
The actor further said that he has “nothing to do with drugs” and the drug nexus.
According to a PTI report, Rampal was interrogated by the NCB team for nearly seven hours on Friday.
“I have nothing to do with drugs. I have a prescription for the medicine which was found at my residence and the prescription has been handed over to NCB officials,” Rampal was quoted as saying by PTI.
“I am cooperating with the investigation and the NCB officials are doing a good job,” added the actor.
Rampal, who had arrived at the NCB office in Ballard Estate at around 11 am, left the premises after interrogation at around 6 pm.
The 47-year-old actor was summoned by the NCB in a case related to alleged Bollywood drug nexus.
Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was interrogated by the NCB on Wednesday and Thursday.
