New Delhi: An Indian Air Force jet crashed a short while back at Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. According to multiple reports, both the pilots have been killed. Official confirmations are awaited.
The crash coincided with Pakistani jets intruding Indian air space across the LoC. According to news agency PTI, they dropped bombs on their way back after being successfully confronted by the IAF jets. They violated the airspace as they entered the border areas of Nowshera sector.
Reports also claimed that commercial flight movement has been restricted in the northern sector. Movement of several commercial flights especially those flying to Srinagar has been restricted.
