Bhubaneswar: Only two days to go.
On Friday morning, the nine-Hawk Suryakiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will roar into the skies over the Kuakhai river in Jaripatna, Balijatra Ground, over Bhubaneswar, flying in formation, flying inverted, diving and climbing in an aerial ballet which is expected to be watched by thousands of people. The 45-minute aerobatics show will begin at 9.30 am.
Preparations are under way in full swing ahead of the show.
“The aim of the show is to motivate youths to join the defence services,” an IAF officer supervising preparations on the ground in Bhubaneswar told a news channel.
The aerobatic team will perform over Bhubaneswar on September 16 and over Raj Bhawan in Puri on September 18.
