IAF’s Tejas Aircraft Crashes In Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer; Pilot Reported Safe

Jaipur: A Tejas aircraft met with an accident at Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer, during an operational training sortie, Indian Air Force (IAF) informed on Tuesday.

The pilot has ejected safely.

“One Tejas aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident at Jaisalmer, today during an operational training sortie. The pilot ejected safely. A Court of Inquiry has been constituted to find out the cause of the accident,” the IAF posted on X.

The accident took place in Jawahar Nagar. A video from the accident site showed thick, black smoke billowing out of the crashed aircraft.
