Bhubanswar: IBM, in colaboration with Xavier University and Odisha Government, hosted a Call for Code global challenge in Bhubaneswar. They will utilise the power of open technologies like Cloud, AI, IoT and Blockchain to build better solutions for the future.
The day-long hackathon brought software developers together. They brought the innovative solutions which can alleviate the effects of natural disasters.
Call for Code is a five-year global initiative. It is the largest and most ambitious effort, which brings together start-up, academic and enterprise developers to solve the most pressing societal issues.
In 2019, the focus of this initiative is on preventing, responding to and recovering from natural disasters with an emphasis on individual health and community well-being.
More than 15 Call for Code Developer Days were organised across major cities including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon and Chennai this year.
