Koraput: The combing party of 151 battalion of the BSF on Tuesday. The teams recovered IED near NH 326 during recce checking between Mantriam and Govindpalli in Koraput sector.
During a scan the teams found some unusual changes and on digging at two places they found it to be occupied by RSO. The combing party secured and searched the area with help of explosive dog and mine detectors. After confirmation of IED by explosive dog and mine detector, unit BD team was called to do the needful.
BD team confirmed IED at one place and second place was suspected to be dummy, BD teams have taken all precautions and demolished IED in situ at about 10.40 am, informed sources.
