Bhubaneswar: The senior officers of Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday visited the BSF camp at Ramgiri in Boiparigida block of Koraput district.
IG, Frontier BSF Odisha, Satish Chandra Budakoti; DIG, Koraput BSF, Madan Lal and BSF Commandant Ajay Kumar interacted with the villagers and students.
Addressing the gathering, Budakoti said, “BSF is deployed here to assist the police and local administration and promote a sense of security among the people living in the region.”
He sought more cooperation from locals and assured them of BSF’s commitment to eliminate Naxalism. The main objective of BSF is to ensure security of the villagers and provide a platform to civil administration to implement various development schemes on ground.
The IG called upon the youth complete their education and join the Security Forces to serve the country.
