Bhubaneswar: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Term End Examinations will be held between February 8 and March 13.
According to sources, the examination will be held at 837 centres across the country including 104 jail centres for jail inmates and 19 overseas centres for international students.
In Odisha, the examination will be held at 32 centres in 21 districts adhering to all the COVID-19 guidelines. Five hundred jail inmates will appear for the exam at three centres. Around 7,000 students will appear for the exam under IGNOU Regional Centre.
Students can download their hall tickets from the official website www.ignou.ac.in. They have to bring identity proof along with the hall ticket to the examination centre.
Notably, the IGNOU has given permission to those students who applied for June/September 2020 exam but, could not appear due to COVID, without charging any separate fee.
The University has also exempted the first and second-year students of undergraduate courses and first-year students of postgraduate programmes from appearing for the exam. However, if some students do not want to be exempted and want to appear for the exams, they can contact the Regional Centre with their filled examination form, sources said.
