Cuttack: An illegal gun-manufacturing unit was busted at Shankarpur Matha Sahi under Choudwar police limits in Cuttack district and two persons arrested in this connection on Thursday.
Those arrested were identified as Jayant Ojha (42) and Ajay Behera (30).
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Choudwar police raided Jayant Ojha’s house located at Shankarpur Matha Sahi, where arms were being manufactured. Five country-made guns and other weapons were seized during the raid.
The duo has been booked under Arms Act and forwarded to court.
