Bhubaneswar: After a spell of cloudy weather conditions, the maximum temperature rose to 34.5 degree Celsius in Titlagarh on Saturday, with only a few places experiencing rainfall.
According to a India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Odisha capital will witness partly cloudy sky and one or two spells of rain and thundershower with temperature hovering around 34 degree Celsius.
Rain and thundershower are likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
The state recorded an average rainfall of 2.2 mm. While 28 districts received sporadic rainfall, Khurda and Puri remained dry during past 24 hours.
The IMD, however, predicted Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Puri, Ganjam, Khurda and north coastal Odisha on Sunday.
