Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday issued a nowcast warning for 21 Odisha districts till 3.30 pm.

ing is likely in some parts of Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Malakangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Rayagada during the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
The Met office has issued yellow warning for heavy rainfall in six districts — Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri- on Saturday.
