Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for six districts of Odisha till 5.36 pm on Friday.
Moderate rain, light thunderstorm/lightning with wind speed 30-40 kmph may occur at a few places in Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kendrapada and Mayurbhanj districts in the next 3 hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
