IMD Issues Rain Alert For Twin Cities & 12 Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lighting for 12 districts of Odisha till 5 pm on Thursday.

The weather condition will prevail in Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Jajpur, Nayagarh, Khurda (Including Bhubaneswar), Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and Kandhamal during the next three hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
