Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert for nine districts of Odisha from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Wednesday.
The latest Met bulletin said moderate thunderstorm, lightning with light rainfall and gusty wind speeds reaching 30-40 kmph are likely to occur at one or two places in Nuapada, Balangir, Baragarh, Kalahandi, Sonepur, Boudh, Nabarangpur, Sundergarh and Keonjhar districts.
