Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued thunderstorm and lightning with moderate rainfall in Odisha by 11 pm.
The IMD’s regional centre here said there will be thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Jajpur and will continue at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Nuapada and Bargarh between 9 pm and 11 pm.
People in these districts have been advised to stay indoors and take shelter in buildings during lightning as a precautionary measure.
