Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm and rainfall alert for eight districts of Odisha till 8.45 pm on Friday.
Moderate thunderstorm, lightning with light rainfall and gusty wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Balasore and Nayagarh between 5.45 pm and 8.45 pm.
