Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD)’s regional centre in Bhubaneswar on Saturday issued yellow warning for several districts in Odisha from July 31 to August 1.
July 31 (Till 8.30 am)
Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Deogarh.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

Yellow warning: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Boudh, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput. Also heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Kalahandi.
