Bhubaneswar: Many parts of Odisha are likely to be lashed by rainfall of varied intensity over the next five days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The midday weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur in the next 24 hours in coastal Odisha.
Districts like Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput are also likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershower during the period.
The IMD issued yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Gajapati, Ganjam and Bhadrak till Saturday.
Most parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershower till the morning of March 29, it said.
