Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for dense fog warning that will be in effect for 10 Odisha districts till 8.30 am on January 22.
The warning has been sounded for Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Rayagada, and Koraput.
Meanwhile, shallow to moderate fog is also likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Sambalpur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Koraput, and Rayagada in the same duration.
While there is no warning for dense fog on the following day, shallow to moderate fog weather condition is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Angul, and Dhenkanal till 8.30 am of January 23.
Dry weather conditions is likely to prevail across the state from January 23 to January 25, added IMD.
