Bhubaneswar: The latest weather report of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) doesn’t particularly augur well for several parts of Odisha.
A number of districts in the state may see heavy rainfall till Wednesday, the IMD said in its bulletin on Sunday.
At least 15 districts in the state are likely to receive
Heavy rainfall is likely on Monday in at least 15 districts — Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
A Yellow warning has been issued by the Met department for these districts.
Some districts including Balasore, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj may be battered by heavy rainfall till Wednesday, according to the IMD regional centre in Bhubaneswar.
Rainfall is likely to continue in districts of north and south Odisha till July 26.
A few places in Nayagarh, Kalahandi and Bargarh recorded heavy rainfall during the last 24 hours.
