Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for ten districts of Odisha up to 8 pm on Thursday.
The Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar issued yellow alert and said that light to moderate rain, thundershower with lightning is likely to affect some parts of ten districts of the state.
These districts are Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Angul, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur and Dhenkanal districts within next three hours.
People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike.
