Bhubaneswar: Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) on Thursday donated Rs one crore to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), in a gesture of support amid the prevailing flood situation in the state.
The cheque was handed over by IMFA Group Managing Director Subhrakant Panda to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Loka Seva Bhawan.
The contribution comes as a gesture of solidarity when the state continues to undertake various relief and assistance measures for people affected by floods. The donation is to strengthen the government’s efforts to provide timely support to those in need.
The CMRF serves as a significant avenue for mobilising financial assistance for people requiring support during emergencies and difficult circumstances.
