IMFA MD & FICCI President Subhrakant Panda, Leads Business Delegation To Bhutan

Bhubaneswar: Subhrakant Panda, FICCI President and Managing Director, IMFA led a business delegation to Bhutan, where they met the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering. There was also an interaction with senior officials of the Royal Government of Bhutan and local business leaders at the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Indian Ambassador to Butan, Sudhakar Dalela also hosted them at India Estate in Thimphu.

“Bhutan is the most important partner in our immediate neighbourhood and FICCI will facilitate greater business-to-business engagement, especially within the private sector. It was a privilege to meet His Majesty the King who spoke eloquently about his vision for Bhutan’s growth and development,” Panda said.

Other members of the delegation included Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, Vice President, FICCI and Shailesh Pathak, Secretary General, FICCI.
