Bhubaneswar: After two years of COVID restrictions, this year’s Republic Day on Thursday was celebrated across Odisha without any curbs.
Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal unfurled the Tricolour at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Odisha capital in presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He then inspected the guard of honour. People in large numbers, including school and college students, attended the parade.
Several routes in the city, including Mahatma Gandhi road, was closed to the public.
