Bhubaneswar: While the opening ceremony of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 is all set to take place at Barabati Stadium in Odisha’s Cuttack on Wednesday, the state government has opened an entertainment park in Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, and Puri.
According to sources, the entertainment park ‘Olly’s Land’, named after the World Cup mascot, will remain open on non-match days.
While Bhubaneswar denizens have already started visiting Olly’s land at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar since January 10 for hundreds of selfies and photographs, it will open at Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela and Puri beach on January 13.
When To Visit Olly’s Land?
People can visit the entertainment park from 3 pm-10 pm at all three locations.
Entry Pass For Olly’s Land?
Only those who have booked their tickets can visit the entertainment zones in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela on the days when matches will be played. Entry will be free on non-match days. The park in Puri will be open on all days from January 13-29 and there is no entry fee for the same.
What to expect?
There will be a food fest, different types of entertainment programs, and immersive light attractions at Olly’s land.
