Konark: The 32nd edition of Konark Festival was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through virtual mode on Wednesday.
Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi inaugurated the festival at Konark Natya Mandap in front of the Konark temple.
Padma Madhvi Mudgal and team from New Delhi performed Odissi on the inaugural evening.
Among others, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Tushar Kanti Behera, Advisor to CM N Balakrishnan, Superintendant of ASI Odisha Circle Arun Mallik joined the event as guests of honour.
The festival is being organised with only one-third spectators in the open-air auditorium amid COVID restrictions.
