[In Pics] Sattriya Dance Of Assam & Odissi Captivate Audience On Day-2 Of Konark Festival

Konark: Captivating performances were staged by dance troupes from Assam and Odisha on the second day of Konark Dance festival here on Thursday.

Anita Sharma and Group from Guwahati performed Sattriya dance while Niranjan Rout and Group from Bhubaneswar staged Odissi.

Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Director General of Police Abhay, Tourism Director Sachin R Jadhav and Director, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Ranjan Kumar Das attended as guests of honour.

On the other hand, sand sculptures on Chandrabhaga Beach on themes of ecotourism and ‘Manabasa’ attracted large number of tourists.

The popular beach spot now has OTDC serving delicious quick bites and refreshing beverages at Chandrabhaga Beach Cafe.
