[In Pics] Silk City Fest 2023 Amplifies WC Hockey Fever In Odisha’s Berhampur; Check Upcoming Performances

Berhampur: The Silk City Fest 2023, which is being held at the Government ITI/ UCP Engineering School Ground in Odisha’s Berhampur city, entered its fourth day on Monday.

Bollywood actress Disha Patani, popular K-Pop band Blackswan featuring Odisha’s Shreya Lenka, singer Nakash Aziz, and Rapper Big Deal will set the stage on fire this evening.

Renowned Bollywood singer Udit Narayan, his son Aditya Narayan, Benny Dayal, Lisa Mishra, Neeti Mohan, Sniti Mishra, Tollywood singer Mano, Geetha Madhuri, Rituraj Mohanty, Sambalpuri Star Mantu Chhuria have enthralled the city denizens in the last three days.

The fest also saw several classical dance forms – Bharatnatyam, Bihu, Mohiniyattam, Manipuri, Jhumar, and Kathak.

The curtains will come down with singer Shaan’s live performance on Tuesday.

Several agricultural and textile exhibitions and book festivals are also being organised in the city. Stalls selling products of Self Help Groups from across the state are the other attraction. An exclusive hockey pavilion has also been created to celebrate the ongoing FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela.

Minister of Housing & Urban Development Usha Devi inaugurated the fest on January 13.
