In Pictures: Odisha Observes ‘9Baje9Minute’ To Express Solidarity In Fight Against COVID-19

On April 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had urged the countrymen to join the #9pm9minute initiative to illuminate the common purpose – COVID-19 outbreak – that we all were fighting to contain.

As the clock struck 9 pm on Sunday, people across Odisha, including Governor Ganeshi Lal, Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi and BJP Odisha unit president Samir Mohanty, were seen lighting ‘diyas’ and flashing mobile lights.

The police personnel on duty also took a break to express their solidarity in the fight against the virus, which is wreaking havoc across the world.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and his family members observed it at their New Delhi residence.
