In Pictures: Power Lunch At Odisha CM’s Residence

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister played host to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and chief ministers of West Bengal and Bihar, Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar, on Friday.

They were served authentic Odia cuisine and the spread included, baigan fry, aloo mutter masala (Odia style), gucchi paneer, dal, tomato chatni, papad, roti, boondi raita, rice and machha besar (fish curry with mustard gravy). Chhena poda and rasa malai as dessert completed the meal.

The leaders are in Bhubaneswar to attend the 24th East Zonal Council Meeting and discuss ‘national integration and creation of healthy inter-state and Centre-State relations’.

Naveen also tweeted about the pleasure of having their company. “Had a wonderfully interactive time over some home-cooked Odia delicacies,” he added.
