Bhubaneswar: The inauguration of various railway infrastructure projects such as Bhubaneswar New Station, third Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Bhubaneswar Railway Station, MEMU Shed at Khurda Road Railway Station, PRS Counter at Bagala Dharmashala, Puri and launching of Rath Yatra mobile App will be done by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tomorrow.
Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister of State for Tourism & Culture, Odisha, Nrusingha Charan Sahu, Minister of State for Commerce & Transport, Odisha, Dr. Prasanna Kumar Patasani, MP (Lok Sabha), Bijaya Kumar Mohanty, MLA, Bhubaneswar Central & Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA, Bhubaneswar North will also be present.
The inauguration of MEMU Shed at Khurda Road and PRS Counter at Bagala Dharmashala, Puri will be done through video conferencing where Bhagirathi Badajena, MLA/Jatni will be present at Khurda Road Station. Maheswar Mohanty, Minister of Revenue & Disaster Management, Odisha and Pinaki Mishra, MP (Lok Sabha) will be present in Puri.
Three passenger trains will stop at the New Railway Station. Bhubaneswar – Howrah-Puri-Santragachhi, Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela and Cuttack-Brahmapur-Cuttack MEMU on an experimental basis for a period of six months.
58001 Howrah-Puri Passenger will arrive at New Bhubaneswar Railway Station at 1056hrs and will leave at 1057hrs. In the return direction, 58002 Puri-Santragachhi Passenger will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 1141hrs and will leave at 1142hrs towards Santragachhi.
58131 Rourkela-Puri Passenger will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 2032hrs and will leave at 2033hrs for Puri. In the return direction, 58132 Puri-Rourkela Passenger will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 0643hrs and will leave at 0644hrs for Rourkela.
68433 Cuttack-Brahmapur MEMU will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 1753hrs and will leave at 1754hrs for Brahmapur. In the return direction, 68434 Brahmapur-Cuttack MEMU will arrive at Bhubaneswar New Station at 1035hrs and will leave at 1036hrs for Cuttack. The timings and stoppages for these passenger trains at other nominated places will remain unchanged.
