Bhubaneswar: The property statement Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and other Ministers for the year 2022 has been uploaded on the official website. There has been a marginal increse in assets owned by Naveen.
According to official figures, the net worth of the Chief Minister has swelled by Rs 42, 86,069 in 2022. Naveen owned property worth Rs 65,40,79,694.02 as on December 31, 2022, against Rs 64.97 crore the previous year. He owned property worth Rs 64.98 crore in 2020.
As per the statement in the official portal, Naveen’s assets in terms of deposits in different banks and post offices and various bonds have increased by Rs 42, 86,069.
The property statement showed that the CM owned movable property worth Rs 12.52 crore, which included bank accounts in New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Hinjlicut, and Bargarh, along with jewellery and a four-wheeler.
The gold jewellery owned by Naveen was valued at Rs 3.49 lakh and the old Ambassador car of the 1980 model at Rs 6,434.
The Chief Minister has deposits of Rs 70.11 lakh in a bank at Janpath, New Delhi, and Rs 20.87 lakh in the State Bank of India in Bhubaneswar.
As per the declared statement, he possesses immovable assets worth Rs 52.88 crore, all of which were inherited from his parents Biju Patnaik and Gyan Patnaik.
Patnaik’s immovable assets include his two-thirds share in Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar, worth Rs 9,52,46,190 approximately and 50% share in the property at 3, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi worth Rs 43,36,18,000 approximately as per circle rate.
