New Delhi: The number of coronavirus cases in India rose to 4067, with an increase of 490 cases in the past 12 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Monday morning.
Besides, the death toll has crossed 100 and stood at 109 as on Monday, the ministry added.
The number of active cases and toll were up from 3577 and 83 deaths reported by the ministry on Sunday.
Till date, the active COVID-19 cases and deaths have been reported in 30 out of the 36 states and Union Territories in the country.
Maharashtra, which is the worst-affected state, has reported 777 cases, including 45 deaths. Tamil Nadu is second with 584 patients of the coronavirus followed by Delhi, which has reported 528 cases with seven fatalities.
