India, Israel Working To Develop Rapid Testing Kit To Detect COVID Within 30 Seconds

New Delhi: Israel said on Thursday that it will send to India a research team which has been working with the Indian side to develop a rapid testing kit for COVID-19 capable of producing a result within 30 seconds.

According to a PTI report, the foreign affairs, defence and health ministries of Israel will lead an anti-COVID-19 cooperation with India, an Israel Embassy statement stated.

A high-ranking Israeli defence ministry research and development team will soon be flying from Tel Aviv to New Delhi on a special flight. The Israeli team has been working with India’s chief scientist K VijayRaghavan and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to develop a rapid testing kit for COVID-19 in under 30 seconds.
