New Delhi: The country recorded 1.14 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, which is the lowest in two months, the Union Health Ministry reported on Sunday.
This was also the 10th successive day when the country registered less than 2 lakh daily cases.
Meanwhile, the COVID death toll climbed to 3.46 lakh with 2,677 patients succumbing to the virus in the past 24 hours.
Besides, 1,89,232 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. This was the 24th consecutive day when daily recoveries outnumbered daily new cases, the ministry informed.
The country’s recovery rate has also increased to 93.67%, it added.
