New Delhi: After the United Nations’ World Happiness Report 2022 ranked India 136th out of 146 countries, Rahul Gandhi took a swipe at the BJP-headed Union government on Saturday.

Noting India’s Hunger Rank (101), Freedom Rank (119) and Happiness Rank (136), the Congress leader tweeted: “But, we may soon top the Hate and Anger charts”.

In the World Happiness Report released by UN’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network, India was among the bottom 11, being placed at 136 out of 146 countries.

Even Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan occupied higher places than India.

Despite Congress faring very poorly in the recent assembly elections in five states, Rahul has maintained his attack on the BJP, accusing it of spreading politics of hate.
