New Delhi: India reported the highest single-day spike of 11,458 new COVID-19 cases so far, taking the country’s total tally over the 3 lakh mark on Saturday.
The Union Health Ministry informed that the number of total cases has surged to 308,993 in the country and the death toll stood at 8,886 with 389 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
India has now become the third worst-hit country with the virus, just behind USA and Brazil.
