India Win Again After Odisha’s Nikita Toppo Breaks Deadlock In 5-Nation Hockey Meet

Dublin: The Indian women’s team proved to be far superior than their rivals once again in the Uniphar under-23 five-nation hockey tournament at Dublin on Wednesday.

Having got the better of hosts Ireland 4-1 two days ago, the Indians outplayed Ukraine 3-0 today. And just like on Monday, an Odisha girl got into the scoresheet.

If it was Dipi Monika Toppo who scored on Monday, Nikita Toppo sounded the board today. Odisha Naval Tata Hockey HPC’s Nikita helped India break the deadlock after a goalless first half.
