New Delhi: The Indian Air Force (IAF) dropped 1000 kg laser-guided bombs on a major terrorist camp across the Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday early morning, reported ANI.
12 IAF jets carried the attack at around 3:30 in the morning and sources claim that the operation was ‘100 per cent successful”. According to reports, terror launch pads in Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad have been completely destroyed along with Jaish-e-Mohammed control rooms.
Spokesperson for Pakistan Armed Services, Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted that “Indian Air Force violated Line of Control. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircrafts gone back…” and also claimed “Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot. No casualties or damage.”
