Indian Couple Falls 800 Ft To Death In California

San Jose: An Indian couple died after falling 800 feet into a steep terrain inside Yosemite National Park in California.

The couple identified as Vishnu Viswanath, 29, and Meenakshi Moorthy, 30, were married since 2014. They had just shifted to California from New York after Vishnu took a job at Cisco.

The couple used to blog about their adventures in a channel called ‘Holidays and HappilyEverAfters’.

Their bodies were recovered on steep terrain below Taft Point on Thursday. This point offers spectacular views of the surrounding and is a favourite place of tourists around the world.

Authorities have said that it is difficult to say what exactly happened.

The report added that they were software engineers. On the cover of Vishnu’s Facebook page is a picture of the two of them smiling on the edge of a cliff at the Grand Canyon.
