Kishore Kumar Jena struck gold in men’s javelin with an effort of 81.05 metres, beating off the challenge of Karnataka’s Manu DP ((80.61m) and Punjab’s Arshdeep Singh (75.67m).
In men’s 100m, Amiya Mallick bagged silver. The Odisha sprinter clocked 10.69 seconds to finish a close second behind Hassan Saaid of Maldives (10.67s). Delhi’s Amit Tiwari (10.90s) finish third.
